The definition of Biofilm is:
An association of microorganisms that adhere to a hot tub surfaces, particularly inside the plumbing, where they are difficult to remove. Biofilm may contain bacteria, viruses, mold, parasites as well as dirt and polysaccharides which add adhesion to a surface.
